UKACA Welfare Memo — Annual General Meeting (AGM), 31st July 2023
First, I would like to say a big thank you and appreciate every one of you for your compliance and continued support towards UKACA welfare’s zero debt campaign.
Secondly, I would like to announce to you our upcoming AGM which is slated for 31st July as noted above.
As part of the agenda, we will update you on the progress we have made in regards to the preparation of necessary documentation for fair trading, compliance and mandatory reporting. We will also brief you on the processes that we have had to undergo and those pending.
As of today, we have spoken to fair trading to understand what is required of us, and we are informed that lodgment is to be done within 30 days of an AGM.
I therefore take this opportunity, to invite the honor of your presence to UKACA welfare’s AGM on the date specified above. As this is a virtual meeting, the committee requests that we arrive early and kindly mute your speakers until the forum is opened for discussion.
The meeting’s agenda will follow the following guideline:
- UKACA welfare’s financial position as of 30th June 2023.
- Voting on the query to increase welfare payout for members from AUD 4,000 to AUD 5,000.
- Voting on how to fund UKACA welfare’s administration costs.
- Updates on proposed and implemented projects.
- Q & A session.
The committee has proposed that the voting process be through online survey as this will have more transparency and accuracy, but subject to technology.
